Devlin Tenney is a multi-talented musician currently residing in New York City. Tenney began his studies on the guitar at age six after becoming interested in the music he heard in his family’s home, and and began studying piano and voice soon after. By the time he reached high school, he began receiving national recognition for his talents and musicianship and was led to New York to continue his studies at the New School, from which he graduated in 2023 with a degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music.

Tenney’s time in New York has yielded great exploration and growth for him on a personal, professional, and creative level. He has been involved in several projects spanning a wide range of genres including Jazz, Rock, R&B and Bluegrass. Additionally, his work with emerging rock band Cab Ellis has brought him to major music festivals and on several national tours in addition to their sold out headline shows at legendary venues such as Bowery Ballroom, Baby’s All Right, and Thalia Hall. In addition to the guitar, he has also done extensive freelance work as a mandolinist, pianist, bassist, and vocalist.

In addition to his supportive roles in other projects, Tenney writes and releases his own music as well. In addition to two collaborations with fellow songwriter Max Stratyner, he plays various venues around New York and puts out a Substack newsletter where he shares a self-recorded demo weekly.
